Make Jesus the Lord of your life
Dear Lord Jesus Christ, today I’ve come to realize and accept that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness.
I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and a life of sin and today I invite You to come into my heart and life. I invite You to come and abide with me. From today and for the rest of my life, I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. This is I pray by faith and through the help of Your Spirit in Your name, Jesus Christ.
Congratulations! You are saved! There’s rejoicing in heaven because of you. Now, you are sure of a place in eternity with the Lord and, we can assure you, your life will never remain the same again.
Now that you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to find and begin to attend a believing church close to you.
We also encourage you to get a study bible, a daily bible study devotional (a good example is Our Daily Bread which you can find online as well odb.org ) and a note book to write things you learn along the way.
Here are a few bible verses to get you started.
John. Chapter 3, Verses 3 and 16
1 Corinthians. Chapter. 13, Verses 1 – end
Galatians Chapter. 5, Verses 16 – 25
